Fiance Responds Like a Woman at Man’s Low Blood Sugar Episode

Episode

Dear Godscribe:

I just moved in with my future wife, everything is pretty much bliss.

But this morning, I had a low blood sugar episode, something I get from time to time ever since I was a kid.

Growing up, I ran through a gamut of doctors who wanted to treat these episodes based on the approved AMA guidelines.

I felt worse and it was invasive. For the last 20 years, I have been treating it with my holistic doctor.

We have theories about my episodes of blood sugar drop, myself and my doctor are treating the whole body.

My problem is, my future wife saw this episode and she immediately started mapping it out in her frame of reference, which was not appealing to me.

What are the first steps and next steps so she can feel included and not be alarmed?

Dear Episodic Disaster,

You are never going to escape the female need to frame and cure a man’s problem, so just know straight away how to put her in your pocket when she behaves that way.

The male of the species has the same affliction, “to fix,” but that’s not the big problem here.

The big problem is your belief that she will make you feel bad about yourself when you have a chemical reaction to a glucose shift.

Here’s your responsibility.

Don’t feel bad about yourself when you behave in a way that embarrasses you later.

Say, “C’est La Vie, this is me.”

Now if the Episode is Destructive or Abusive:

If the episode goes way beyond embarrassment, there are ways to see yourself before you turn into the Hulk.

The more you forewarn and pay attention to the early caution signs, then that is just the best you can do.

She, being an insightful attentive woman, will start to see the signs before you do, and you will slowly learn to trust her when she puts a banana in your hand.

We suggest she does so and then leave the room for awhile until you take your medicine.
