Q: “Sometimes I feel like I’m disappointing God… Does this ever happen to you?” Mary M, Phoenix

Answer: This is Sondra saying, YES! Knowing so many of us experience this, I godscribed the following over a bowl of Pho.

phases of the moonGod Says:

Disappointment is a CRAZY way to imagine God. It would be like the Sun being disappointed in the moon, when it went out-of-phase, unable to shine light upon the Earth at night.

God’s disappointment is an impossible comprehension. Source is only disappointed whenever you don’t feel love.

This list reveals God’s sense of humor.

God says,

HERE ARE 7 SIGNS GOD IS DISAPPOINTED WITH YOU:

  1. You’re feeling an easy way about you, when there is nothing to do
  2. You can’t find your keys
  3. You don’t know why the sink is dripping
  4. You haven’t found what you’re digging for in your purse/pocket
  5. You’ve made the bed
  6. You’re not driving fast
  7. You’re in a parked car not giving attention to someone impatiently waiting for your spot

Can you imagine being so loved that nothing you do or don’t do is a disappointment? You cannot let God down. Nor can you let yourself down.

There are reasons for rest.
There are reasons for pause.
And there are reasons for waiting to be inspired.
The only thing next to do
is to wait for the one you are
who does what it is you must do.

Sondra here…

When I scribed this in my notebook, I laughed and laughed as the list came. Because one ridiculous line came after the other. It was then I felt the Great Being feigning disappointment at the sign of befuddlement in a dripping faucet. Or that God click’s a tongue as I run around unable to find my keys. The thought of Spirit disturbed as my day is free and easy, is so humorous. Because I am so often told to relax, enjoy the day, make it my own.

Then as I looked deep into each “sign” I saw the irony.

In your own relationship with God, it won’t mean you stop wishing you could do everything you think you ought to, but it will mean you can take advantage of the times when you would rather not.

Because God/Source/Spirit enjoys as you experience joy. God is the joy in the days you take for joy.

I’ve failed God in every way , I never knew myself and always went to church and tried the very best I could. Family discouraged me from going to school building a good life ,no self confidence, did personalities, I’ve been through the ringer a lot. God is such a wonderful father , I’m sorry for failing him. I just wanted to make God proud and all I’ve done is disappoint him. I feel I’m of better use in a ghostly spirit form than human. Thanks for listening.

    • Now look, Michelle.

How small would God have to be to think you could disappoint such a being as the creator of the universe?

You are a soul that has evolved over eons.
This is just one lifetime of many you have lived on earth.
The only one you disappoint is you.
But if you take the things you think you’ve done wrong and multiply them by a million you would still be loved and adored by the one who thinks you’re perfect.

      So,
      Step one.

Stop being so hard on yourself.
Stop blaming those who have discouraged you from succeeding as the reason you have not achieved.
Stop looking to what you have not achieved as what you can expect from yourself.
Stop identifying with other people’s successes as being where you have not succeeded.
Stop taking the world so seriously.
      Stop taking yourself for granted.
      Stop addressing yourself as worthless.
Stop identifying with the difficulties you are having as being your longterm condition.
Stop looking at the world around you for recognition as to what and who you are.
      Stop making yourself look bad.
Stop identifying with how embarrassing it is to start from scratch.
Stop demanding the world to turn on you by making what you are such a disaster as you are.

      Step two.

Start seeing yourself as a good self starter.
Start opening yourself to noticing opportunity.
Start addressing each issue that has gone wrong in a logical order and make each better; one by one.
Start feeling better everyday about what you can achieve.
Start identifying with achievement for every small success.
Start reveling in your own good fortune everywhere it shows up, no matter how small.
Start alleviating your worries with the awareness you can generate new habits.
Start making new habits, one day at a time.
      Start praying for guidance.
Start listening for God in your inner ear.
Start addressing your life as a constant rewrite and
Start rewriting your day with each new thought that is about optimum attitude.

      Begin now.
      Begin today.
      Begin again tomorrow.
      Begin every day.

      Love, God

  2. This journey that I am on is getting hard and real ish. I kinda wanna jump off the ship for it’s to rocky. But, I keep hanging over the bow of this ship wondering to jump or not. Or go back to sleep. But, since I’m not allowed to be negative nancy towards myself. I enjoy being able to at times allow Source to do what they do. I am amazed at myself..Do you ever want to scream outside at night an go WTF!! DUDE!!

    • Hmmmmmm, Mary. That’s not the way God feels to me, in you. God says you are on a dirt road, a shortcut off the highway. You don’t like busy roads so you took this lonely one.

      God says:
” Mary, you have no idea what’s waiting for you after this training period, that’s why you’re so upset. You had better give yourself the discipline and the efforts of faith, if you’re going to make it past this year’s challenges. Deepen your listening. Deepen your concentration, planning and road-making skills. Stop dwelling on what’s not showing up. Show faith that what comes to you everyday is only as hard as you make it. Make this time easier by using the Force. Every day, all day long, use the Force. Love, God”

  3. I always go inside and ask, “God are you disappointed in me?” I always love the answer I get. But think about what makes us wonder? What is it we think God would be disappointed about? Something we haven’t gotten done yet? Or some expectation of timing we’re not meeting?
